Entry 3: Social Studies Learning Journey

Hi Kids

With the CNY spirit is in the air, we are in the best of mood right? There is another reason to be happy as we will be going out for our SS Learning Journey to two historical places - Reflections at Bukit Chandu and Old Fort Factory.

These are two important sites in the Singapore History. So before we embark on the journey, let's find out about these places and blog it in our blog entry.

1) Where are the Reflections at Bukit Chandu and Old Fort Factory located? 2) Why are they important in the Singapore History ?
3) What was/were the event(s) that took places in these two places during the World War II?
4) Who were the local heroes featured at these places? What did they do? What did they sacrifice?
